What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality hygiene care with compassion and professionalism

• Perform dental cleanings, exams, and X-rays

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and treatment options

• Partner with dentists and team members to create a positive, efficient workflow

• Maintain accurate patient records and stay current with charting and documentation

• Create a welcoming, judgment-free environment for patients of all backgrounds

What We’re Looking For

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Tennessee

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to clinical excellence and patient-first care

Legacy Dental Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. As part of our locally managed dental group, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care while helping create a positive, professional environment for both patients and team members.

We’re looking for someone who is committed to excellence, values teamwork, and wants to grow in a stable, patient-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures

• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

• Maintain patient comfort and confidence throughout the appointment

• Document patient records accurately and efficiently

• Ensure clinical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

• Support front office staff as needed to maintain workflow

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification or prior experience preferred

• X-ray certification required (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn

• Ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team
